App

Your app is your charity's own mobile app for iPhone, iPad and Android, for the supporters who sign in to their account with you. It is published from your charity's own Apple developer account and Google Play developer account, under your charity's name, and N3O operates it for you.

The live app and the staging app​

Your charity has two apps in each store:

  • The live app is the one supporters install from the App Store and Google Play.
  • The staging app is for trying changes before supporters see them. On a phone it carries your app's name followed by "Staging". It is never listed in the stores: your team installs it through TestFlight on iPhone and iPad, and through internal testing in Google Play on Android.

You choose who can install the staging app, in your own App Store Connect and Google Play Console accounts. Adding someone is covered in Adding testers to your staging app.
